As we approach the completion of our new home, I knew I wanted to do a final tour of some of the rooms in our previous home. I started with a living room tour and now, I want to share one last look at our former kitchen. This kitchen tour is bittersweet because I truly loved this space in our last home. There are even several aspects of our previous kitchen that I am using for inspiration in our new home.
We updated our kitchen about three and a half years before we sold our home. I took these pictures just before we started packing, so they are the most up-to-date pictures. I’ll share sources and some of my favorite design decisions for this space below.

I always loved the layout of our kitchen and breakfast room. Because of this, I did something very similar in our under-construction home. Having lots of windows in our breakfast room made our kitchen so bright and inviting. We spent so much time at our table.
If I had to pick the top things that I wish I could have changed about this space, they would be the small pantry (it is behind the door on the right) and the lack of windows in the actual space. In our new kitchen, I added big windows on the main wall. I also added a much bigger and better pantry, which I can hardly wait to show you!
A few of the things I adore about this space are the lighting, the cabinet hardware, and the gorgeous zellige backsplash. I came very close to using this tile in our new kitchen, but I ultimately chose a marble tile instead. I hope my new backsplash turns out to be as pretty as this one was.
For lighting, I selected these beautiful lantern pendants which coordinated with the pulldown faucet and our counter stools. The gold tones aren’t identical, but the are close to each other, which I think adds depth and interest to the space.
They also compliment the chandelier over our breakfast table.
The cabinet hardware is a combination of champagne gold and crystal-clear accents. You can find the styles I used here, here, and here.
Styling this part of our home was always a favorite pastime of mine. I’ve included many of my favorite styling pieces and all available kitchen sources below.
With this post, I felt like I was saying one last goodbye to our former kitchen. I hope her new owners love her as much as we did.
I hope you’ll stay connected!
