Today, I am thrilled to share our new primary bathroom with you! I absolutely love how the space turned out and it functions perfectly as intended.
We designed the room with a floating bathtub as the focal point. It is flanked with built-in cabinets. We also have two vanities with plenty of storage. Conveniently, our primary closets (his and hers) along with our utility room can be directly accessed from our bathroom.
I chose to use a soft green and white palette with marble tiles. The combination is wonderfully calming.
I hope you love this room as much as I do!

Bathtub Area
The bathtub area is the focal point of the room. I wanted a floating tub in our last home, but it wasn’t in the cards. This one in this alcove is everything I had hoped for and more.
To frame it, we chose an arched window for extra interest and tiled around it. The marble tile is aesthetically pleasing and also functional.

The chandelier inside the bathtub area is a showstopper! The size, shape, and sparkle could not be more perfect for this space. We have it on a dimmer switch which allows it to add a soft dreamy glow to the entire bathroom! If you catch it at just the right time of day, when the sun is shining through it, it casts sparking light specks all over the walls. So beautiful!

We also have a chandelier in the center of the room.

For privacy, we added these sheer window panels. They are absolutely stunning. Made by TCG Interiors, they are incredibly well made. I continue to work with the team from TCG Interiors for many reasons, but especially because the quality of their window treatments is second to none.
Cafe curtains are an excellent choice for bathroom windows. They allow plenty of natural light in the space, whether they are open or closed.
I found the elegant rod and rings here and here.

The floor-mount faucet was a bit of a challenge during construction, but well worth it. I love that it has a sprayer as well.

Built-Ins
One of my favorite features are the built-in storage cabinets on each side of the bathtub area. We use them to store towels, medications, and much more.

Vanities
Another lighting choice, the wall sconces, really add to the beauty of the vanity areas. I much prefer sconces like these rather than installing lighting above the mirrors.

Speaking of the mirrors, 40″ round mirrors with a slender gold frame fit well and do not compete with the backsplash design.

The countertops are White Aurora by Vadara. A marble-inspired quartz with a soft white background and subtle veining.
The faucets are sleek and pretty. They coordinate with our tub faucet.

I chose cabinet hardware (knobs and pulls) in unlacquered brass. They add character to the space with their slightly aged look.

More Details
Adding just a bit of soft blue gives the space life. This vase is the ideal size and shape for the counter.

All of our towels are from Frontgate’s resort collection. They are amazing! They’re so luxurious and hold up extremely well.

The monogramed hand towels add a personal touch. (Here’s the towel ring)

These gold trays are beautiful, functional, and excellent quality. I always include my favorite candles in my bathrooms for additional ambiance. These are Frontgate finds as well!

Each vanity has a caddy holding soap and lotion.

And last, a couple of essentials sit on a small table near the tub.
