Range Hood Design

We are getting so close to the completion of our new home! The pretty things are getting installed and I can see my design decisions come to life. I think it is finally the perfect time to share our new range hood design. I am incredibly excited about this addition to our new home. It is a statement piece that will be the star of our future kitchen.

I have been incredibly picky about every single detail of this house. It only took one conversation with Classic Custom Metal Works to know that they would meet all of my expectations.

I narrowed my options down to two beautiful choices (with your help via Instagram polls).

Remember when I said I knew my expectations would be met? With these options, my expectations were exceeded!

Finally, I selected this gorgeous range hood for our new kitchen! Isn’t it perfect?

The Planning Process

Some people know exactly what they want, but I was open to multiple designs and finishes. I also wanted to share several beautiful options that would work in my space with you. Cindy Mullen, the owner of Classic Custom Metal Works gave me excellent advice along the way. She and her team offered guidance and a process that was truly stress-free and enjoyable.  

I filled out a questionnaire, shared inspiration, and my room dimensions. I also shared finishes that I had selected for the space. They paid close attention to everything I provided and designed range hood options that were more stunning than I ever could have imagined. 

The team at CCMW is known for developing relationships with their clients. This was exactly what I experienced. Of course, the design process will be slightly different for each customer, but the care they take to create the perfect design for you will be second to none every single time.

The Design and Finish Options

I loved both shapes, but with a 12 foot ceiling height, I felt that the bell shape would provide a beautiful balanced look. 

Once I saw the designer’s renderings, I knew I wanted to go with a gold-tone.

I loved all of the finish options, but ultimately I went with the ones that looked closest to my range’s finishes in the lighting of my home.

 CAD drawings came next. These are the blueprints of my design. 

After production and before delivery of our range hood, I will receive images. I can’t wait to share them with you! We are getting so close!!!

Home construction projects can be stressful. Ours certainly has been. We have endured delay after delay. We’ve had difficulties finding supplies and professional contractors. And we’ve had to make sacrifices along the way to keep the project moving forward. However, with Classic Custom Metal Works, the process has been seamless.
