After the deepest of deep spring cleaning sessions, I am always ready to refresh my home for warmer days. I actually did this several weeks ago, but life happened and suddenly it was late spring!
I considered saving my spring home tour post for next year. But, seasonal home tours, especially my spring home tours are my favorite posts. Also, here in south Texas, spring is very short-lived. This is the reason my spring and summer decor is very similar. With that in mind, this year, I thought a late spring home tour would be fitting!
I won’t be adding lots of comments……. just spring/summer home inspo.
I hope you enjoy!
Spring Entry Hall
I styled this space (and all of the others) with as many faux flowers as possible. I love to combine faux and real flowers. Can you pick out which flowers are real?
Spring Kitchen
Our kitchen is always fun to style for each season. During our kitchen remodel, we enlarged our island, which I love to fill with my favorite decorative items. A few wood accents warm up the space as well.
Spring Breakfast Room
Just beyond our kitchen, our breakfast room is one of the brightest rooms in our home. I simply added a some blush pink pillows and a throw blanket to our chairs and grouped some dinnerware and spring branches on our table for a spring look.
Spring Living Room
Because I used blush pink in our entryway and kitchen, I wanted to keep our living room somewhat neutral. When I use blush decor in my home, I love to find ways to keep it balanced with pretty shades of white and other colors.
We added some extra seating to this spot just before Christmas. It was fun to style it for spring with a pretty ginger jar and some faux branches.
Spring Front Entrance
Looking back at where we started, I created an inviting late spring look with the same elements as I always love to use…… flowers, candles, and ginger jars.
