Hello! Is it spring yet? No? After the coldest day yet I’m feeling very grateful that I took the time to give my home a warm wintery look. Today I’ll be sharing our winter kitchen and dining room! I sprinkled cozy touches (think every candle I own) all over our home and it is definitely feeling seasonally appropriate!
In case you need to catch up, feel free to visit our winter living room and winter entryway and before diving into this latest post!
Now, welcome to my winter kitchen and dining room!
Winter Kitchen
Gold and white is my favorite winter color combination. Gold tends to give rooms warmth and it is so easy to add in small-medium amounts.
In addition to the stationary gold pieces like our light pendants, bar stools, faucet, and pulls, I added some gold-toned accessories. Candlesticks and these gorgeous pressed flower candles are so timeless and they are definite favorites of mine.
On the cabinet wall, I layered more candles and some of my serving pieces.
A small amount of soft blue adds dimension to our all-white kitchen.
Winter Dining Room
I love how this arch frames the view of our dining room from our kitchen. Because the rooms are open to each other, I always want the color schemes to flow from one space to the next.
On our dining table, I kept it simple with a centerpiece of faux white peonies. This look never gets old and works for every season. You can find my tips to make faux flowers look real here.
One last winter view….our sweet Bailey on our dining room rug. He rarely lets me out of his sight, so he ends up in a lot of pictures!
