Who doesn’t love all of the elegance that Christmas decorations add to their living room? I know my living room is the first room I decorate for the holidays and I am thrilled when it is ready for guests.
It is our most popular room during the holidays as it is definitely the focal point for all things Christmas. And because it is open to our kitchen, it is always filled with family and friends.
This year, I selected shades of gold and blush for my tree and mantel. I’ve always wanted to do this color scheme and I love the way it turned out!
It is finally done and I may be a little late to the party, but still, I want to welcome you to our Christmas living room!
Mantel & More of Our Tree
This year, for our mantel decor, I chose to decorate frosted garland in the same blush, rose gold, and gold and colors as our living room tree. I used the same ribbon and magnolia picks as well. There is a tutorial saved on my Instagram under Story Highlights if you are interested!
Our tree fits in a few places in our living room. This year we placed it in this window. This spot is nice because the tree can be seen from our front door, all of the open-concept space around our living room, and even from our master bedroom.
In case you missed it, I shared more of it here.
I sprinkled a few holiday finds on side tables and my ottoman as well.
Using decorative trays to hold holiday decor is nice because it can easily be relocated if necessary.
One new pillow style gave my sofa a cozy update. I love velvet pillows for winter and I am obsessed with these gorgeous new Frontgate ones.
Some magnolias are really one of the only additions I chose for this year. I actually started collecting holiday magnolias five or six years ago. We even planted a magnolia tree when we moved into our home so I could have fresh blossoms in the summer. The white ones are so pretty with gold accessories and votives. My gold leaf statue is out year round, but looks so Christmasy here.
Holiday details complete the look of our Christmas living room. A magnolia-topped gift box and a couple of candles were all this small table needed.
Our sweet girl, Ava wishes you a very Merry Christmas!
