Simple Idea for a Magical Christmas Bedroom

I have been thinking a lot about what it would take to create a magical Christmas bedroom for my guests to enjoy this year. We have had a Christmas tree in our master bedroom for the past three years and I knew a tree was the answer.

It’s simple really. The hundreds of twinkle lights are the key.

With that in mind, I set out to find something simple and beautiful. It would also need to compliment the decor of our guest room.

And this is what I chose!

The branches are beautiful in white with soft twinkle lights. The tree is quite full as well. It easily filled up the corner of our guest room. And, it’s such an amazing value at only $99. Also, orders over $35 at Walmart.com ship for free which made it an even better deal.

After I carefully separated, or “fluffed” the branches, I added buffalo snow to give the tree an extra dreamy look.

It blends with the tree and adds to the lush, wintery look.

On the bench at the end of the bed, I created a small vignette with a lantern. I used battery-operated lights inside and covered the battery pack with some mini ornaments (similar). A brass scented candle completes the cozy collection.

I brought my tray table in the room and started to add ornaments, but then realized the tree really doesn’t need them. If I add them later, I’m going to stick with an all-white theme.

I think I just want to sit and stare at the glow….

I got the look I wanted and I know my guests will love it!

We have purchased our outdoor Christmas lights from Walmart several times over the years. This year though, I was so pleased to  find numerous additional items of great value for my holiday-ready home! For holiday home decor, including a nice selection of white tinsel trees, you can likely spend less and still get a festive and beautiful look at Walmart.

You can even use their convenient Shop by Style page for all home inspiration.

Our new tree, even without baubles and adornments, has definitely elevated this magical Christmas bedroom. I will be sharing a full tour of it along with tours of the rest of my holiday home soon. If you don’t want to miss this or other future posts, you can subscribe to our newsletter HERE.
