New Year’s Eve is such a happy holiday and decorating for it is easy and fun.
Today, I’ll be sharing my kitchen styled for the holidays, from Christmas to New Year’s Eve. I keep my trees up and make the transition a stress-free task. Be sure to not miss a peek of my winter look at the end!

Christmas
My holiday look in our kitchen is always very important to me. Whether we have guests or it’s just the two of us at home, we spend lots of time in here, so I want it to look festive and beautiful.
To achieve that desired look, I love to find gorgeous holiday home items that will take me from Christmas through the new year! This year, I think I did just that!
You may be surprised to know, this year, many of my finds are from The Home Depot and I’m completely in love!
First, here’s a peek back at our Christmas decor including a few of my favorite pieces.
I adore this brass tray. The tray is a great way to add gold and get a beautiful current look. Here, I filled it with trees and added some beaded garland.
I also found this darling cake stand. A candle and a poinsettia made this functional piece into the cutest holiday moment.
A footed trifle bowl looks so cute filled with ornaments. I love footed pieces because they add a bit of extra height on my kitchen counter.
Cheese boards are great for gathering a collection as I’ve done with this new cheese board.
New Year’s Eve
I adore my new finds and added them with the intention of continuing to use each one long after Christmas. A few changes and a bit of restyling made this possible and it was done so quickly! I kept our Christmas trees up and it took me less than an hour and a few command hooks to switch over the room to my New Year’s Eve decor!
Here’s our New Year’s Eve look. It turned out to be fun and simple and I hope you love it!
This brass tray, previously filled with a decorative tree collection, now holds wine glasses.
On my new pink cheese board, I placed a light glittered holiday spray and some champagne flutes. Did I mention the board is pink marble?!!! LOVE!
Crystal snowflake ornaments leaning on a candle turned the cake stand vignette into a sparkling New Year’s Eve display.
I love to choose pieces that can be displayed for multiple holidays and occasions.
The cake stand on my island is another great example.
I’ve had the stars and snowflakes for a while. They were actually store displays that I found after Christmas one year.
Winter
My kitchen counter accessories are among my favorites. Most have practical uses, and all make my kitchen look far more styled and complete. See them all in a peek into my post-holiday kitchen below!
Simple, bright, but still cozy, this grouping on my brass tray could not be more fitting for winter and beyond.
This vase goes with everything! The size, the shape, and the price (less than $15) make me so happy!
After the ornaments are packed away, my beautiful footed trifle bowl is so perfect full of pears. At only $18, it is an amazing value too!
You can see my cake stand with my favorite cream cheese filled pumpkin muffins here! Keeping baked goods on hand definitely creates a more inviting atmosphere.
I found more on-trend finds from brands I love on The Home Depot’s site than I can count! As you saw above, they came with great prices too. On top of that, shipping is free for purchases over $45, or you can take advantage of their free in-store pick up. It has become a great new source for me and I hope you’ll take advantage of shopping The Home Depot for your next home decorating project!
I could get used to a home filled with candles, cozy scents, and yummy muffins…… I’ll have a full wintery, post-holiday look around here soon. I hope you’ll check back to see a tour and much more! Subscribe to Decor Gold Designs and you’ll never miss a post!
